LAHORE: The HBL Pakistan Super League 11 continues at the National Stadium, Karachi with Match 39, where Hyderabad Kingsmen face Rawalpindiz in a crucial late-season clash. Hyderabad are fighting to keep their playoff hopes alive, while Rawalpindiz are still searching for their first win of the season.

Hyderabad have found momentum at the right time, winning four of their last five matches. Their batting order, led by Marnus Labuschagne, Saim Ayub, and Usman Khan, has started to click, while their bowling attack has tightened up with Hunain Shah, Mohammad Ali, and Asif Mehmood providing breakthroughs. The addition of Glenn Maxwell has further strengthened their middle order. Rawalpindiz, captained by Mohammad Rizwan, remain winless through most of the campaign. Despite big names like Naseem Shah, Daryl Mitchell, and Mohammad Amir, the team has struggled with batting collapses and inconsistent bowling. Their middle order has been particularly fragile, with players like Abdullah Fazal and Kamran Ghulam unable to provide stability.

Hyderabad Kingsmen would most probably be relying on Marnus Labuschagne – calm leadership and consistent batting. Usman Khan – explosive top-order hitter, recently scored a century. Hunain Shah – emerging pace threat with match-winning spells. And Glenn Maxwell – adds firepower and all-round balance.

Rawalpindiz will be depending on its skipper Mohammad Rizwan – experienced leader and wicketkeeper-batter. Naseem Shah – pace spearhead, though under pressure to deliver. Daryl Mitchell – one of the few consistent contributors. And Mohammad Amir – veteran left-arm pacer, needs to lead the attack.

The Karachi surface has played slow and low, favouring disciplined bowling attacks. A first-innings score in the range of 155–175 is expected. Dew in the evening could aid batting second, making the toss crucial. Hyderabad’s recent form, squad depth, and Maxwell’s availability give them a clear edge. Rawalpindiz will need a complete performance with both bat and ball to break their losing streak.
