Islamabad: In a significant step towards strengthening academic leadership, the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has completed the posting of heads of institutions to all 113 government schools it regulates in Islamabad and adjoining areas.

Officials said the milestone, aligned with the start of the new academic session, reflected a strong commitment of the directorate to efficient governance and uninterrupted academic planning.

They said 51 male and 62 female heads of institutions appointed; balanced distribution was ensured across all six areas of the Islamabad Capital Territory, and merit-based approvals granted following thorough evaluation. The officials said local placements prioritised for better efficiency and ownership.
