Rawalpindi:The Horticulture Agency, Rawalpindi (HAR) has enhanced the appearance of the Chandni Chowk flyover by decorating the planters with colourful seasonal flowers.
The initiative, undertaken on the instructions of the Managing Director, Horticulture Agency, Rawalpindi, Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, forms part of ongoing efforts to improve the city’s environment and aesthetics, said HAR spokesman on Wednesday.
Agency teams have been engaged in planting and maintaining flowers at key locations, with a focus on busy urban areas such as Chandni Chowk. He said the initiative was aimed at creating a more pleasant environment for residents while boosting the overall visual appeal of the city.
Ranjha said similar plantation and beautification work would be extended to other parts of the city to promote a cleaner and greener Rawalpindi. Residents have welcomed the move and described the agency’s efforts as commendable. The agency has also urged citizens to cooperate in protecting the plants and to help maintain cleanliness in public spaces.
