PESHAWAR: The Awami National Party (ANP) has named initial members for the organizing committee of the United States chapter.
A communication said the party’s Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Sardar Hussain Babak, formally approved the names. Shahid Iqbal Yousufzai and Tauseefur Rehman Muhammadzai were appointed as members of the committee.
The committee will carry out membership drive, organize the party, and later hold elections to elect office-bearers in the US. More members of the committee will be named at a later stage.
