ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday underlined the need to strengthen harmony between federal and provincial governments to make public service delivery more efficient and impactful.
The president held a meeting with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and Governor Nehal Hashmi at the Bilawal House in Karachi, where the overall political situation and development priorities in the province were discussed.
The meeting focused particularly on ongoing development projects in Sindh and measures to enhance delivery of social services to the public. The president emphasised the need for effective governance, stressing that public welfare must remain a central priority.
He also directed the authorities to promote stronger collaboration among government institutions as well as with social, political and business stakeholders to ensure improved policy implementation.
