An exhibition highlighting advancements in dairy, agriculture and livestock has been organised in Karachi under the auspices of the Dairy Agriculture and Livestock Farmers Association (DALFA), drawing widespread participation from farmers, experts and industry stakeholders from across the country.
Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah attended the event at the Karachi Expo Centre where a diverse range of sectors were represented. During his visit, the minister toured various stalls and closely reviewed modern agricultural practices and cutting-edge dairy technologies.
Shah remarked that agriculture and livestock constituted the backbone of the national economy and must be strengthened through innovation and sustained support for farmers. The exhibition witnessed a strong turnout of farmers, livestock breeders and agricultural experts from across Pakistan, reflecting growing interest in modernising the sector. The minister called for the promotion of contemporary farming techniques and greater facilitation for farmers to enhance productivity and resilience.
He noted that such events played a vital role in fostering shared learning, improving practices and raising awareness about emerging trends in the dairy and livestock sectors. He stated that he had been regularly attending the expo over the past several years to stay informed about new developments and learning opportunities.
