Islamabad:The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration has denied the social media claims that three people were died in Islamabad after drinking juice.
Spokesman of ICT administration told on Sunday that the district administration took notice of the reports and reviewed the case. Initial findings show that the deaths were not caused by juice consumption, according to officials, he said.
A post circulating on social media alleged that three individuals were died after consuming juice in Islamabad. The claim drew attention and raised concern among the residents. The district administration responded and began verification of the information.
According to a spokesman, hospital reports do not support the claim that the deaths occurred due to drinking juice. The medical findings did not link the cause of death to any beverage. Officials also stated that the affected family could not confirm any details about buying juice before the incident.
The family did not provide information about any shop or location from where juice was purchased. The Islamabad Food Authority carried out inspections in the area where the family lives.
Teams checked all juice corners operating in the locality. In addition, nearby grocery stores and supermarkets were also inspected to trace any possible source. During the inspection process, no harmful or unsafe juice was found in the area.
