Islamabad: The 9th Annual Global DEI Benchmarks Awards, organised by HR Metrics, were held on Wednesday, recognising organisations for excellence in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Bank Alfalah, JazzWorld, HBL, and Engro Polymer & Chemicals were named ‘Most Inclusive Companies of the Year,’ says a press release.
Speakers emphasised the need to move beyond compliance toward accountability and practical implementation of inclusion. Bank Alfalah President & CEO Atif Bajwa highlighted the ‘4Cs’ strategy - Customers, Colleagues, Community, and Country — while HBL President & CEO Muhammad Nassir Salim underscored efforts to drive financial inclusion through digital banking.
Other speakers shared progress in improving women’s representation, leadership, and financial access across sectors.The awards were evaluated by an independent international jury.
