Islamabad: Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training Wajiha Qamar met Ambassador of Qatar Ali Al Khater at the Qatar Embassy here to discuss avenues for enhanced collaboration in the education sector.

The meeting focused on promoting partnerships in technical and vocational education and training, expanding student and academic exchange programmes and creating new opportunities for scholarships.

Both sides emphasised the importance of equipping youth with market-relevant skills to meet global workforce demands and reaffirmed their commitment to fostering institutional linkages and capacity-building initiatives. Officials said the engagement marked another step forward in strengthening bilateral ties and investing in a skilled, knowledge-driven future.
