ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Banking Court, presided over by Judge Abdul Ghafoor Kakar, on Tuesday directed the submission of the challan in the foreign funding case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and others, while extending the interim bail of accused Siraj Ahmed and Faisal Qazi until April 21.
Special Prosecutor Wasiq Malik appeared before the court and was asked to update the status of the challan. He informed the court that it had been completed and would be submitted to the registrar within a day or two.
Arguments on the bail application could not proceed due to the absence of Faisal Qazi. The prosecutor questioned how the accused had traveled abroad without informing the court.
