Lahore District Weightlifting from April 16

LAHORE: The Lahore District Weightlifting Association (LDWA), in collaboration with the Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA), has announced the holding of Lahore District Men & Women Weightlifting Championship 2026.

According to media coordinator Sohail Javed Butt, the championship will be staged over two days, April 9 and 10 (Thursday and Friday), at the A.R.T. Weightlifting Club, Ali Park, Fort Road, Lahore. The competition will feature top male and female athletes from across the district, competing in a high-intensity environment.

The event is being organised under the expert supervision of Prof. Muhammad Azhar, a renowned international weightlifting coach, who serves as the Organizing Secretary.
