Pakistan blank Maldives in Asian under-12 tennis

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan made a strong and commanding start at the ITF Asia 12 & under Team Competition South Asia 2026, defeating Maldives 3-0 in their opening encounter.

The Pakistan boys’ team is placed in Group B alongside Maldives and host Nepal, while the girls’ team is competing in Group A with Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and India. Pakistan dominated the match against Maldives with impressive performances in both singles and doubles matches.

Results (Boys): Muhammad Faizan defeated Ahmed Shaahaan 6-0, 6-0; Muhammad Aayan defeated Rayn Mohamed 6-0, 6-0

Doubles: Muhammad Faizan / Muhammad Ibraheem Hussain Gill defeated Jibril Jabbir / Rayn Mohamed 6-0, 6-1
