QUETTA: A gas pipeline exploded in Sibi, suspending gas supply to surrounding areas. According to reports, a four-inch gas pipeline on Talli Road burst in a powerful explosion, creating panic in the area. Police, security forces, and other law enforcement agencies reached the site immediately after receiving information. Authorities said inspection is underway to determine the nature and cause of the explosion, while the area has been cordoned off and evidence is being collected.
Following the incident, gas supply to suburban areas of Sibi has been temporarily suspended.
The administration stated that steps are being taken to restore supply as soon as possible.
