LAHORE:A total of 141 high-achieving students were awarded laptops at a ceremony held at Fatima Jinnah Medical University (FJMU) Lahore under the Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Scheme here on Thursday.
The ceremony was presided over by FJMU VC Prof Dr Khalid MasudGondal, while former VC Prof ShamsaHumayun and former Dean/Head of Pathology Department Prof Munazza Iqbal were the guests of honour.
In his welcome address, Principal Prof. Dr. Abdul Hameed described this initiative as a symbol of hope, confidence, and a brighter future for the youth. Prof Dr Khalid Masud urged students to utilise these laptops effectively for modern research, technological advancement, and academic excellence.
