A man was found dead with a gunshot wound inside a car near Zamzama Park in Clifton.

According to Clifton SHO Nasir Tanoli, the deceased was identified as 30-year-old Hamza, son of Yousuf Siddiqui, a resident of Phase V. Police said initial investigations suggested the man stepped out of his house, sat in his parked black car, and shot himself. A 9mm pistol, believed to be licensed, was recovered from the vehicle.

The body was taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for legal formalities, while the crime scene unit collected evidence from the spot. Officials said the deceased was married and ran his own business.

The motive behind the suspected suicide could not be immediately ascertained, and police are gathering further information from the family. After completing legal procedures, the body was handed over to the heirs.
