KARACHI: U Microfinance Bank has implemented a new core banking system from Temenos, as part of a broader technology upgrade aimed at improving operations and expanding digital services.
The bank said the platform, deployed with Systems Limited, integrates core banking, payments, digital channels and compliance functions on a single system, enabling real-time processing across its network of more than 220 branches.The upgrade supports both Islamic and conventional banking products and is expected to streamline loan processing, strengthen risk monitoring and improve regulatory compliance.
