Islamabad:Amjad Ali Awan, Associate Professor of Psychology and Chairman of the Department at Islamabad Model College for Boys H-9, has retired upon attaining the age of superannuation, concluding a distinguished career spanning over 33 years in the Federal Education Department.
To honour his long and dedicated service, the retired teaching community of Federal government colleges hosted a farewell ceremony in his honour. The event was attended by prominent educationists, including Javaid Iqbal Gondal, Muhammad Shamoon, Muhammad Ashraf, Mehdi Hussain, Tahir Mahmood and Manzar Zafar Kazmi.
The teachers paid rich tribute to Prof Awan’s unwavering commitment to psychology education, his exemplary leadership, and his mentorship of students and colleagues. They extended heartfelt prayers for his health and happiness, calling his retirement the end of a golden academic chapter.
