Another rain spell in Punjab from today

LAHORE:Partly cloudy weather was recorded in the City here on Sunday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours. The average AQI of the city was 61, which fell in the category of moderate while the PM2.5 concentration was 2.9 times the World Health Organisation annual PM2.5 guideline value.

Met officials predicted that rains will occur in different parts of the country and snowfall in the upper parts during the next few days. They further predicted rains in Punjab,including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Sargodha, Mianwali, Khushab, Faisalabad, Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Narowal and Sheikhupura from today (Monday),which will continue until Wednesday (April 9).

They said a new wave of westerly winds entered the western districts of Balochistan on Sunday evening, which was likely to remain effective in the upper areas until April 9 and rain was expected in the areas of Panjgur, Gwadar, Pasni, Turbat, Khuzdar, Kalat, Quetta and Zhob in Balochistan while rain was also expected in other areas, including Barkhan, Lasbela, Kohlu and Naseerabad. Met officials said maximum temperature in the City was 21°C and minimum temperature was 17°C.
