Rangers arrest four members of Shano gang

Pakistan Rangers, Sindh, conducted an operation in the Shah Latif Town area on Saturday and arrested four suspects affiliated with the Shano gang during snap checking.

The arrested individuals were identified as Gulzar Ahmed, son of Deedar; Sajid Ali, son of Deedar; Murtaza, son of Momin Khan; and Ahmed Ali Khan, son of Abdul Hameed.

According to a Rangers spokesperson, the suspects were allegedly involved in multiple incidents of robbery and street crime in Shah Latif Town and adjoining areas. During the operation, Rangers recovered one unlicensed 30-bore pistol with ammunition, a dummy pistol, two motorcycles, a mobile phone, and cash from their possession.

The arrested suspects, along with the recovered weapons and other items, had been handed over to the police for further legal proceedings. The Rangers had urged the public to report criminal elements by contacting the nearest Rangers check post, calling the helpline 1101, or sharing information via SMS or WhatsApp. The identity of informants would be kept confidential, the spokesperson added.
