In Turbat, many women are denied the right to operate cars or buses, which severely limits their independence, mobility and opportunities for education and employment. In comparison, in other countries, including Muslim countries, women are empowered to drive freely with proper licenses, contributing actively to society. Here in Turbat, many women face strict social restrictions, cultural pressures and limited family support, which prevent them from acquiring driving skills.

There are also very few driving schools for women and safety concerns on the roads make learning even more challenging. Consequently, many women remain reliant on others for transportation. Additionally, women in Pakistan often do not receive adequate training or opportunities to develop driving proficiency, further restricting their freedom and independence. This situation underscores the urgent need for awareness, supportive policies and safe training facilities for women drivers in Turbat.
