The growing problem of motorcycle theft in Balochistan is a matter of serious concern. One of the main reasons behind this issue is the absence of proper rules and regulations for motorcycle riders. Vehicles are rarely checked to ensure that they carry valid documents, making it difficult to identify their rightful owners. The situation is becoming even more alarming as criminals often threaten innocent people at gunpoint to snatch their motorcycles. Although victims file FIRs, the response from the police is often unsatisfactory and little effort is made to recover stolen vehicles.

Without a proper system of documentation and regular checking, it becomes nearly impossible for law-enforcement agencies to trace stolen motorcycles. It is high time that the authorities take strict action. Motorcycles without proper documents should not be allowed on the roads and regular inspections must be carried out. The police must also show serious commitment when FIRs related to motorcycle theft are registered. Public safety cannot be ensured unless effective regulations and responsible action are taken.
