Islamabad:Under the patronage of Chief Guest Dr. Khalid Maqbool Federal Minister of Education and the gracious presence of Host College Principal Prof. Sadia Ibrar, IMCG (PG) G-10/4 dazzled with its 23rd convocation ceremony here Thursday.
The atmosphere was set aglow with the ceremonial entry of the teaching fraternity, paving the way for the prestigious degree conferral upon 166 graduates. Among them, 40 outstanding achievers were honoured with the roll of honour and coveted prizes. In Prize Distribution segment, the stage acknowledged victors by bestowing accolades to those who excelled in examinations, alongside remarkable accomplishments in academics and co-curricular. Highlighting the essence of excellence, Ms. Kirn Zubia from BS Zoology, Session 2020-2024 was adorned with a prestigious gold medal in attaining a flawless 4 CGPA.
Moreover, there was a special salute to long-serving champions Miss Zeenat Firdous, Miss Sobia Naveed among the teaching staff and Mr. Zaheer-ud-Din, Mr. Mushtaq Ahmed and Ms. Bushra Yasmin among assisting staff, marking 25 years of dedicated service.
In a gesture of appreciation, teachers were applauded for their remarkable contributions to academia and allied institutional functions, fostering excellence in BS disciplines and intermediate.
The event echoed with the names of Ms. Uzma Nazeer, Ms. Sumaira Qurat ul Ain, Ms. Farah Gul, Ms. Sadia Iftikhar, Ms. Zara Mansoor, Ms. Sabeel-e-Hafi, Ms. Zainab Khatoon, Ms. Fazeelat Hussain and Ms. Birjees Anwar epitomizing the spirit of educational excellence and Ms. Dilshad alone honouree from the support staff.
