RAWALPINDI: Security forces have killed 13 Khwarij affiliated with an Indian proxy in two separate intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
On Tuesday, 13 Khwarij belonging to Fitna Al Khwarij were killed in two separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement said.
On reported presence of Khwarij, an IBO was conducted by the security forces in general area Bara during which 10 Khwarij were killed.
Another IBO was conducted in Bannu. In ensuing fire exchange, three Khwarij were effectively neutralised. Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Khwarij found in the area.
