Sindh Rangers, acting on intelligence-based information, arrested three suspects on Tuesday belonging to the “Kaka gang” for their involvement in multiple robbery and street crime incidents in the city, a Rangers spokesperson said.

The suspects — identified as Jahanzeb, Long Khambo, and Muneer alias “Honey” — were apprehended red-handed while robbing a citizen near Darakhshan Marriage Lawn in Shah Latif Town. Weapons and stolen items were recovered from their possession, including a 30-bore pistol with ammunition (unlicensed), two motorcycles, three mobile phones, and cash.

According to the Rangers spokesperson, the arrests were made during an ongoing robbery attempt. During initial interrogation, the suspects confessed to being involved in numerous street crimes across various areas of Karachi, including Shah Latif Town, Manzil Pump, Hospital Chowrangi, Shehryar Town, and Younas Chowrangi.

The accused revealed that they, along with their accomplices, used weapons to snatch mobile phones and cash from citizens. Muneer further disclosed that the gang also carried out planned robberies in factory areas, targeting employees on salary days after conducting reconnaissance.
