Man dies after jumping from building

LAHORE:A 32-year-old man died after allegedly jumping from an under-construction building in the early hours of Monday.

The incident was reported at around 3:10am when the Rescue 1122 control room in Lahore received a call about a suspected suicide attempt near TEVTA Gateway on Walton Road. Rescue teams were dispatched to the scene. However, upon arrival, the man was found lying dead, officials said.

The deceased was later identified as Umar Hayat, son of Sher Muhammad. His body was shifted and handed over to police for further legal formalities. Officials said the man had allegedly jumped from an under-construction building. 

The circumstances leading to the incident remain unclear, and police have initiated an inquiry.
