LAHORE: Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has clarified that all educational institutions across the province will reopen on April 1 (tomorrow).

In a statement issued on social media, he dismissed circulating notifications about reduced teaching days as fake. The minister emphasised that schools, colleges, and universities will operate five days a week with physical classes only, ruling out any hybrid or online system. “We are not moving towards online classes. Students should come to school and continue their studies.”

Education minister’s PRO M Noor ul Huda also noted that the notification suggesting institutions would open only four days a week was fabricated. Normal academic activities will continue five days a week in all institutions, he added.
