MULTAN: On the instructions of Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, PPP South Punjab President and former Governor Syed Ahmed Mahmood announced that the death anniversary of PPP founder Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto will be observed at the district level on April 4.
Syed Ahmed Mahmood stated that district party chapters across South Punjab, including elected representatives and ticket holders, have been instructed to organise Quran recitations and pay tribute to the “Leader of the People” in their respective districts.
He added that, considering the current national situation, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has decided not to hold a central rally for the occasion.
Instead, events will be organised locally in divisional cities, districts, and tehsils, allowing people to honour Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s sacrifice for the homeland and the nation.
