LAHORE : The Punjab government has extended the ban on flying drones in open spaces across the province for another 30 days under Section 144, citing security concerns.
According to a Home Department notification, the restriction will remain in force until April 25 to ensure public safety and maintain law and order.
The ban applies to all outdoor drone operations, while limited use of small drones will be allowed inside halls and marquees during events, subject to strict safety measures. Organisers will be responsible for ensuring controlled indoor use. Law enforcement and intelligence agencies have been exempted for official purposes.
