LAHORE:Cloudy weather with scattered and trace rain was witnessed in the City here on Thursday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
The average AQI of the city was 73, which fell in the category of moderate while the PM2.5 concentration was 4.2 times the World Health Organisation annual PM2.5 guideline value.
Met officials said that the weather in various areas of the provincial capital became pleasant after the rain that occurred late last night while cool winds continued to blow in the morning hours. They predicted heavy rain in the coming days.Met officials said the maximum highest temperature was recorded at 28°C and the humidity in the air was 49 to 65 percent.
