LAHORE:Provincial Minister for Information and Culture Punjab, Azma Bokhari, has said that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is serving the people of the province like a compassionate mother, taking practical steps for their welfare and well-being.

She stated that the governance model in Punjab has transformed, with the government now reaching directly to people’s doorsteps. During Ramazan, financial assistance worth billions of rupees has been delivered to millions of citizens, providing direct relief to deserving individuals.

The minister said that Maryam Nawaz does not merely make promises but delivers through concrete actions, the positive results of which are now evident. She added that the era of false promises and political gimmickry in Punjab has come to an end.

Azma Bokhari highlighted that in the past, governments would take years to complete development projects, whereas now, projects are being completed every month in Punjab—marking a significant shift in governance.

She stated that over the past two years, Maryam Nawaz has initiated more than 100 projects, setting a new record. Today, no provincial government can match or compete with Punjab in terms of performance. Those spreading false propaganda against Maryam Nawaz are, as always, facing failure, she concluded.
