LAHORE: Defending champions Lahore Qalandars have launched a three-day conditioning camp at the Smart Qalandars High Performance Center in Islamabad as part of their preparations for the upcoming 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The camp, which began on Monday and will continue until Wednesday (tomorrow), is scheduled to run after Iftar, with training sessions held from 8:00pm 11pm.
All locally contracted players are participating, alongside Zimbabwe captain and Qalandars’ overseas star Sikandar Raza. The focus of the camp is on conditioning and team preparation ahead of the new season.
Following the Eid holidays, the squad will regroup in Lahore on March 23, where both local and overseas players will join together as preparations intensify for the PSL-11` opener against Hyderabad Kingsmen at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, on March 26.
“The camp marks the first step in the Qalandars’ bid to defend their title, combining fitness, skill refinement, and team cohesion before the high-stakes tournament begins,” stated a camp official.
