SUKKUR: Four children drowned and two others were rescued while bathing in the Indus River in Thatta on Sunday.
Local divers and people rushed to the spot and rescued two children after hectic efforts. However, four others -- Qurban Panhwar, his sister Kashmira, Sajjida and Aijaz -- drowned.
According to reports, the children belonged to village Sabaz Ali Chutto in Thatta.
