Crystal meth seized in DI Khan

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department seized 20 kilograms of crystal meth (ice) worth millions of rupees during an operation in Dera Ismail Khan and arrested a suspected drug trafficker.

An official handout said that the operation was carried out by the Excise Intelligence Squad Dera Ismail Khan under the supervision of Saud Khan Gandapur, Provincial In-charge Excise Intelligence Bureau and Majid Khan, Excise and Taxation Officer (Narcotics Control).

Acting on credible intelligence, Inspector Saifullah Burki, in-charge of the Excise Intelligence Squad, along with his team intercepted a car near the DI Khan Toll Plaza on Dera-Daraban Road.
