KHAR: A police constable of the Ababeel Squad, who had sustained serious injuries in a recent firing incident in Bajaur, succumbed to his wounds during treatment at a hospital in Peshawar on Tuesday.
Constable Irshad, who had been under medical care following the deadly attack at Nawan Killay near Nawagai, passed away after battling for life for several days.It may be recalled that unidentified gunmen had carried out a targeted attack on the Ababeel Squad patrol a few days ago, resulting in the martyrdom of four personnel on the spot and injuries to two others.
