LAHORE:The process of issuing driving licences continued across the province, with more than 791,000 licences issued last month.
According to the spokesperson, over 274,000 citizens obtained learner licences, while more than 264,000 acquired regular driving licences. Around 245,000 citizens renewed learner, regular and international licences.
More than 1,700 citizens obtained duplicate licences, while over 3,500 international driving permits were issued. Additionally, more than 177,000 citizens availed online driving services.DIG Traffic Punjab Muhammad Waqas Nazir stated that driving without a licence is a crime. He added that the importance of an e-driving licence is equal to that of a physical licence card.
