Learner permits for teens from April 1: CTP

Rawalpindi:The City Traffic Police (CTP) Rawalpindi will officially begin issuing learner driving permits for youths aged 16 to 18 from April 1. CTO Farhan Aslam told APP on Thursday that all arrangements had been completed and that applications will be accepted from the scheduled date. The fee for the permit or learner licence would be Rs500, while applicants would be required to pass a road test and a sign (traffic signal) test. The CTO added that a parent’s or legal guardian’s consent on a stamp paper, along with a B-form, would be necessary for applicants.
