LAHORE:Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique said that Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz wanted to provide the best health facilities to patients suffering from heart diseases across the province. He said that the Jinnah Institute of Cardiology (JIC) will provide world-class health facilities to the people of the region. The institute will be fully functional soon and new facilities will be provided to heart patients. He expressed these views while addressing the 7th meeting of The Board of Governors (BoG) of JIC at Allama Iqbal Medical College on Monday.
The meeting reviewed the ongoing recruitment process for various posts in detail and the progress made on the under-construction Jinnah Institute of Cardiology Lahore. A detailed briefing was given by IDAP and Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) on the progress made on the under-construction Jinnah Institute of Cardiology Lahore and HIMS. The meeting approved the recommendations of the Special Selection Board for the Dean and Medical Director of the institution. The meeting directed IDAP to complete the project on time. Chairman Board of Governors Dr Farqad Alamgir said that all members are playing their important role for the betterment of the institution.
