MANSEHRA: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) deputy provincial president Kamal Saleem Swati on Saturday said that Rs12500 would shortly be transferred into the accounts of low-income families in the district and the rest of the province.

“The district administration has been finalising the lists of low-income households for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s Ramazan Relief Package, and money would shortly be transferred into your accounts,” he told a gathering of deserving families here.

Swati said that he held a meeting with heads of the relevant departments and directed them to expedite the process further.

“You will receive Rs12,500 each, as your family’s data and other legal formalities needed for the transfer of the relief amount are being fed into the system,” he said.

The PTI leader said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government had announced a Ramazan Relief Package providing direct financial assistance of Rs12,500 per family for over 1,063,000 low-income households across the province.

“As the money will be directly transferred into the bank accounts of deserving families, nobody can embezzle the money, as the government has adopted all possible measures to ensure ambiguity-free distribution throughout the province,” Swati said.

He said that Ramazan financial assistance was being distributed without any political affiliation in the rest of the province.

The PTI leader said the government supplied wheat flour to people at subsidised prices in Mansehra and the rest of the province.

“Chief Minister Sohail Afridi and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Speaker Babar Saleem Swati have directed the district administrations and the Food Department to ensure that quality wheat flour is supplied under the subsidised scheme, which will equally benefit deserving families,” Swati said.
