Islamabad: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced that laptop distribution under the Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Scheme is now fully under way.
In a statement addressed to selected recipients, the HEC informed the students that laptops have been delivered to their respective universities. It directed eligible students to visit their universities, submit the required documents to the designated focal person and collect their laptops.
Officials said the distribution phase had entered its final stage at the university level, with the institutions now facilitating the handover process to the selected students. They said the Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Scheme aimed to provide laptops to eligible students enrolled in higher education institutions across the country under a merit-based selection process.
