Four Khwarij gunned down in Lakki IBO

RAWALPINDI: The security forces have gunned down four terrorists of Indian proxy Fitna al- Khwarij in Lakki Marwat District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

On the night of February 18 and 19, an intelligence based operation (IBO) was conducted in the district on reported presence of Khwarij during which four Khwarij were gunned down in an intense fire exchange, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.

Weapons and ammunition were also recovered on their person. The killed terrorists remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.

Sanitisation operation is being conducted to eliminate any other Khwarij found in the area.

The statement said the security forces and law-enforcement agencies (LEAs) will continue to wipe out the foreign-sponsored terrorism in the country.
