KOHAT: Commendation certificates and cash prizes were awarded at a police darbar to police officers and personnel for displaying outstanding performance in the field.
The darbar was held at the Kohat Police Lines under the chairmanship of Irfan Tariq, Regional Police Officer (RPO) Kohat.The gathering was attended by Shehbaz Elahi, district police officers, SPs, DSPs, SHOs from across the district, as well as officials and personnel from the lady police, traffic police and other branches of the force.
Addressing the police darbar, RPO Irfan Tariq said that the fight against terrorism was still ongoing and that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police, particularly officers and personnel of the Kohat region, had rendered unparalleled sacrifices in this war. He paid tribute to police martyrs, describing them as the pride and valuable asset of the department, and reaffirmed the resolve to carry forward and accomplish their mission at all costs.
In view of the prevailing security situation, the RPO directed all officers and personnel to remain vigilant and alert at all times. He made it clear that negligence or slackness during duty would not be tolerated.
