LAHORE: President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday reached the residence of Ayesha Manzoor Wattoo, daughter of former Punjab chief minister Manzoor Wattoo and director general operations Punjab, to offer condolences.
Punjab Governor Saleem Haider, Hassan Murtaza, Rubina Shaheen Wattoo, Nawab Shahzad, Mehreen Anwar Raja, Azizur Rehman Chan were present. Zardari condoled the death of Manzoor Wattoo, offered Fateha and expressed sympathy in a meeting with the family. He paid tribute to the political services of Wattoo and prayed for his elevation and patience for the family.
During the meeting, the president kept talking about the time spent with Wattoo.
