KARACHI: FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan Limited reported a profit after tax of Rs2.69 billion for the year ended December 31, 2025, up 22 per cent from Rs2.20 billion in 2024.Net sales declined 2.4 per cent to Rs104.45 billion, compared with Rs107.05 billion a year earlier.
Operating profit rose 16 per cent to Rs7.94 billion, with margins improving to 7.6 per cent of sales from 6.4 per cent in 2024. Earnings per share increased to Rs3.51 from Rs2.87.The company attributed the improvement in profitability to tighter cost controls and efficiencies across procurement, production and distribution.
It noted that the 18 per cent sales tax on packaged milk, introduced in 2024, continued to affect the formal dairy sector, while a large portion of loose milk sales remained outside the tax net.
