ISLAMABAD: The court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Amir Zia extended the interim bail of Bushra Bibi in the November 26 protest case. The court extended Bushra Bibi’s interim bail, restraining the police from arresting her in the relevant case, and adjourned the hearing on the bail application until February 18. A case has been registered against Bushra Bibi at Ramna Police Station under the PAPU Act and other sections.
In another case, Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Tahir Abbas Supra postponed the indictment proceedings against PTI MNAs in the Sangjani Jalsa case due to the non-appearance of the accused.
Similarly, Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majuka restrained the police from arresting the founder of PTI in five cases, including the attempted murder of former minister Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha, and extended the interim bail of Bushra Bibi in one case. The court also ordered the founder of PTI to appear via video link at the next hearing. The court also extended the pre-arrest bail of founder of PTI and Bushra Bibi and adjourned the hearing until 18 February.
