KARACHI: HBL has unveiled a refreshed brand identity, updating its visual system as part of a broader effort to modernise its image while retaining its longstanding corporate mark.
The bank said the ‘HBL’ wordmark will remain unchanged, preserving brand recognition built over more than eight decades. The update introduces a new design element inspired by the existing mark, alongside refinements to its colour palette.
HBL’s signature turquoise will remain central to the brand, complemented by a lighter yellow accent intended to add contrast and visibility across physical and digital platforms. The revised identity will be rolled out across branches, ATMs, mobile applications, websites and other customer-facing channels in phases over the coming months. It will also extend to group entities, including HBL Microfinance Bank, HBL Asset Management, HBL Zarai Services Limited, HBL Currency Exchange and HBL Bank UK.The lender described the move as an evolution rather than a rebranding, aimed at aligning its presentation with its current scale and direction as a diversified financial services group.
