KARACHI: US-founded digital banking and investment platform Fasset said it will enter Pakistan through a partnership with Habib Rafiq Limited, aiming to channel foreign capital into domestic assets and expand digital financial services.

The announcement was made at an event in Islamabad attended by Information Technology Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja and senior executives from both firms. The companies plan to develop tokenised investment products linked to Pakistan’s real estate and other domestic assets, and to introduce digital payout solutions targeting the country’s large freelance workforce. The platform will also seek to facilitate foreign direct investment through blockchain-based infrastructure.

Chief Executive Raafi Hossain said Pakistan represented a high-growth market with a sizeable digital workforce and underutilised asset base. HRL Vice Chairman Jahanzaib Zahid said the partnership would combine the group’s infrastructure footprint with Fasset’s digital capabilities to broaden access for overseas Pakistanis and international investors.
