A 45-year-old woman was found with her throat slit inside her residence in the Jackson neighbourhood on Monday. According to the Jackson police, the incident took place near Subhan Allah Masjid in Keamari. The victim’s body was shifted to the Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities, where she was identified as Farziya, wife of Abdul Muttalib.
The police said the deceased was the mother of six children. Initial investigations suggested that an unidentified suspect entered the house and slit her throat before fleeing the scene. At the time of the incident, the woman was reportedly alone at home while her children were at school. The police launched an investigation into the murder and were working to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the crime.
