KARACHI: Muhammad Amin Rajput has been appointed interim managing director of Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) on a contract basis, the company announced on Friday.
According to a statement, Rajput, who is currently serving as acting managing director (MD) and chief executive officer, will reach the age of superannuation and retire from the company’s permanent service on February 13, 2026.
“To ensure leadership continuity while the formal process for the appointment of a permanent MD/CEO is under way, the Board has approved the appointment of Muhammad Amin Rajput as MD/CEO for an interim period of three months, effective immediately following his retirement,” the statement added.
