LAHORE:The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has announced a decision regarding the change of examination centres.
According to Deputy Director Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC), Syed Kazim Moqaddus Kazmi, as per the newly-approved policy for the change of examination centres, candidates will be allowed to request a change of centre on medical grounds, clash of examinations, marriage or death of a close relative, pregnancy or maternity in the case of female candidates, natural disasters, or serious law and order situations.
He further said PPSC Secretary Afzal Ahmed has issued the notification of the policy after final approval from the Chairman of Punjab Public Service Commission, Lt-Gen (Retd) Muhammad Abdul Aziz in this regard. He also said that applications for change of examination centre will only be considered under specific circumstances, including illness on medical grounds, clash of examinations, marriage or death of a close relative, pregnancy or maternity for female candidates, natural disasters, or serious law and order situations.
All such applications must be accompanied by authentic and verifiable documentary evidence.According to the spokesperson, in exceptional and unavoidable circumstances such as change of residence, transfer, or difficulty in access to the examination center for persons with special needs, applications may be considered on a case-to-case basis. However, no application will be processed without documentary proof.Furthermore, if employees of the Commission apply for any post, their examination center will be Lahore only, and no change from Lahore to any regional office will be allowed.
