LAHORE: PMLN leader and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif celebrated Basant in Lahore on Saturday. Nawaz Sharif reached the house of a friend near Sultan Tipu Building, Masti Gate, in Lahore, where he sat on the roof and watched kites flying. On this occasion, he also held a string and a kite.
Other Muslim League leaders Sheikh Rohail Asghar, Khurram Butt and Ahsan Dar were also present on the occasion. It should be noted that the colours of Basant are in full swing in Lahore. On the second day of Basant festival, the city was bustling with activity.
